ZOUIS issue of smoking joint make Louis' father cross over him. ! Hope this issue gone quickly :(

We've all been there. It's the most crushing thing a parent can say, isn't it? "We're not angry, we're just really disappointed." That's why we're feeling for

One Direction's Louis Tomlinson this morning after his dad came out and said he was frustrated with his son's apparent drug use, which was caught on film in a video that emerged this week.

Louis's dad Troy Austin, who is actually estranged from his son, told the Mirror that he is worried for the 22-year-old singer and believes the pressures of fame have affected him.

"I'm worried for him. I do believe that being that famous will be taking its toll on them. I think everyone is concerned it could lead to other things," he said.

"[Louis] said he would never get a tattoo because it was a scar and he would never smoke because it would damage his vocal cords. He's gone the opposite way and I hope it doesn't get worse. It seems the fame and money have changed him."

Ouch. In the video, Louis and his bandmate Zayn Malik can be seen in the back of a car lighting up what seems to be a joint and smoking it during the band's recent trip to Peru.

They're being given a police escort and one of the boys even jokes that a nearby officer can probably "smell an illegal substance" through the car window.

Louis's dad said the 1D boys have to grow up and realise their enormous fanbase will be watching their every move
"It's very childish. They need a serious talking to. I don't agree with it but I smoked it too when I was younger.

"But you should never brag about it. He's got to think of his fans," he added.

Last night the band performed at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland and all five were reportedly summoned to a crisis meeting beforehand, although none of them made any reference to the video during their gig.

The only official word we've heard from One Direction's management team so far is from their spokesperson, who said: "The matter is in the hands of our lawyers."
